Warranty Policy
Ahlers Aerospace, Inc. will, at their option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of goods found defective during the warranty period. New instruments and electronic components, unless otherwise noted, will carry an eighteen month or 750 total flight hours warranty, whichever occurs first, from date of sale. Overhauled components, unless noted otherwise, shall carry a six month or 300 total flight hours warranty, whichever occurs first, from date of sale. Ahlers may, at their option, extend the warranty for up to an additional six-month period to allow for shelf life prior to installation. Ahlers reserves the right to deny warranty on units subjected to abuse, abnormal damage, or removal of warranty seals.
Limitation of Warranty
The warranty above shall be the sole and exclusive remedy. It is expressly in lieu of any and all other warranties and obligations expressed or implied. Ahlers makes no warranty, express or implied, of merchantability or fitness of purpose. In no event will Ahlers be liable for resultant damage, loss of use, or consequential damages.
Exchange Policy
Exchange price is determined on the basis that the returned cores received from customers will be in normal repairable condition. Ahlers reserves the right to reject any core that has been damaged from abnormal causes such as, but not limited to, fire, crash, submersion, cannibalization, or previous repairs. If abnormal damage is discovered the original exchange price may no longer be applicable, and the customer may be billed for additional parts and labor over and above normal exchange price. Ahlers reserves the right to reject any core that we determine cannot be repaired and returned to service in compliance with applicable FARs. If the customer’s core is deemed un-repairable, or in our determination is uneconomical to repair, they will be notified and given the opportunity to provide an acceptable core. If an acceptable core is not provided in a timely manner, the outright price shall apply.
Bench Check Fee
An inspection fee will be charged for each returned product that is found to be acceptable by our technicians. Items with “No Fault Found” that are later determined to exhibit a latent problem are eligible for a bench check credit.
